American Fitness Center partners with Special Recreation Service of Northern Lake County (SRSNLC)
Special Recreation Service of Northern Lake County (SRSNLC) is an extension of four member park districts, Round Lake, Zion, Waukegan and Lindenhurst, that joined togerther to combine funds, facilities and resources to provide a wide range of recreation programs for individuals of all ages with special needs. American Fitness Center is proud to annouce that it has joined this partnership effective May 2010. American Fitness Center will be the new health and fitness center for the program on Fridays from 1pm - 2pm. Fundraiser for Tricia
Tricia Witkowski Fundraiser
Tricia Witkowski, is in need of your help! She is single, 28 year old mother of one. Her medical and living expenses have put a big burden on her as she is disabled and unable to work. Tricia has a condition called Chiari Molformation, which is a herniation of the brain. Her brain is moving out of her skull and into her spinal canal, which causes numerous, painful, debeilitating systems such as pressure, headaches, numbness & tingling in her limbs, vision and hearing problems, memory loss, confusion, seizures, just to name a few. Currently tricia is fighting for social security disability, but Chiari Malformation is not recognized as a disability due to the lack of diagnosis in the previous years and lack of attention to the condition.
